I am not a very devout "blogger" and the only one that knows of my blogging laziness is my only follower, Scott. Sorry my life is not exciting enough to write more often. Well, I am now a year older and wiser. During finals week I turned the legal age of 21, I can go anywhere and put anything in my body I choose--which really does not mean much to a student at BYU. That is ok though. Wiser, well I found that I did not have to listen to what my "advisor" said about taking a class for my minor when I had already taken it at USU, so I wasted 3 credits last semester taking a class I did better in at USU and dropping my GPA here. I still need to go see if I can get that cleared up with my major advisor-she is a little more on top of things. My parents and I spent the Christmas holidays in Virginia with Scott, Linda, Davis and Gavin. Gavin was a very cute baby that liked to eat, sleep, and fill his diaper. It was fun being with family and playing lots of games. The bowl season showed that I went to the wrong football school yet again, Utah ended #2 in the nation while BYU was last on the list (lucky to even still be on the list..) The new semester has brought on new classes and lots of homework. I am taking accounting, business management, drug addiction, exercise physiology and a public speaking class. The public speaking class will be an easy A thankfully but the rest will take some time--especially the business classes because I have not yet mastered their advanced vocabulary. As a stress releaver I have signed up for mixed doubles intramural tennis. My partner is Keith, we have plenty of bonding time off the court that we should do well, except that they for some odd reason put us in the highest division..scary! But we will have fun and that is all that matters...or I keep telling myself that:) We went to Idaho to visit his brother and his family that live in Rexburg, it was fun and very different to be around kids again that are full of energy and adventure. My favorite probably was his nephew, Mitchell, who kept running around naked and even ran out into the freezing snow like that. Cold! Keith and I got our nails painted by his niece, Avery and Wyatt was pretty sly at stealing french fries and sneaking out of bed. It was fun and very nice to get out of Provo even though we had only been there only 2 weeks. Mark, Janeen, and Molly are coming next weekend for 2 weeks so I will be able to go visit them. They told us on Christmas that they are pregnaunt and are due July 1, and of course they are not going to find out..but this time it is because Molly's friend found out she was getting a baby brother and cried for hours she was so upset. They do not want to risk the same response from Molly. Well, it is getting pretty late and I need to wake up at a decent time for classes so hopefully I will be a more devoted "blogger" and maybe accumulate a couple more followers.

The Beginning...
I just read Linda and Davis' most recent blog and decided that it would be a fun idea to start one. My life definitely is not as exciting as theirs, but I thought it would be a good way to update those that I do not talk to as often anymore on the happenings in my life. Yesterday, Linda gave birth to her baby boy! She called me today and could not stop talking about how cute he is--I will have to take her word on it until I see some pictures, but I am sure he is the cutest baby boy. His name is Gavin Richins Gardner (I hope I spelled that correctly).
Right now I am taking a break from my Economics homework. I have a test next week in that class, hopefully it goes a lot better than the last one. This week is going to be a bit stressful because I have a lot of school work to do before Thanksgiving break and also our ward is having a party friday and each FHE group has to submit a 5 minute video. Ours is not done yet and I am the FHE mom. It will take a lot of time to edit but one of my "sons" and "daughters" said they would be willing to help me because I know nothing about editing videos. It has been fun but will be a lot of extra work on the side from the normal school stuff I have to keep up with. Well, I best stop putting off my homework otherwise this week will be even more stressful!
Oh, intramural update: I am playing doubles with my friend Carie Eastman and we are in Division I and are in the consolation bracket but after last week's amazing come-back we are ready to take on another team tomorrow night! It should be exciting!
