The Newlyweds

We have been married ALMOST a month! Crazy! This will be a longer post, so I will start with the beginning--December 19, 2009.
Keith and I got married at 11:00 am in the Oquirrh Mountain LDS Temple. It was a beautiful, clear, COLD day. Everything went smoothly for the most part except that we missed our luncheon. We stayed after the ceremony with our photographer, Natalie, to get pictures around the temple and by the time we got through traffic and to BC everyone was almost done with their meals. {on Natalie page scroll down a couple of posts} It didn't bother us much though because we wanted to get the pictures! I guess my little niece Molly was sad she couldn't come see the wedding so she was given a "temple recommend" a.k.a a pass-a-long card:) Our reception was gorgeous! It turned out so beautiful and the cake was so pretty too! Everything was perfect and it was a very happy day! A special thank you to my sister, Linda, for being so helpful throughout the whole day--You were amazing!
Keith and I went to Las Vegas for our honeymoon, we stayed for a week in the Grandview Hotel. We used Keith's parents time share. It was a resort on the south end of Vegas and it was wonderful! My favorites of our room were, a jacuzzi tub, large bathroom, 2 tvs, a large bed, and a big kitchen--well pretty much everything! Some of the activities we did were: going to the Hoover Dam, watching BYU beat Oregon State in the Las Vegas Bowl, spend time with my Aunt and her family, have Christmas dinner with my Grandpa Gary, walking the strip and walking through a LOT of casinos, and just enjoying each other. Enterprise upgraded our rental car two levels {because Keith "would not fit in the economy or compact cars"} to a brand new, white, Malibu! It was such a nice car! It was so wonderful being stress-free and having no computer, cell phone calls, and most of all no school!
We just finished our second week of school at BYU. Keith is being a TA for Stats 221 and giving plasma 1-2 times a week. I am working for BYU Grounds about twice a week and just got notified today that I am going to be an intern for the Wellness Program here at BYU and will be teaching either an Aerobics class or a Beginning Weight Training--I'll keep you posted! I am very excited to get this internship because I need one before I can graduate {which is hopefully in August!}
And last of all I wanted to share to you all Keith and I's adventurous week that took place last week. Some of the things that happened include: setting off the fire alarm, leaving a purchased cookie sheet in the shopping cart, we had to jump my car, I bounced two checks in my bank account {I was able to talk them into charging me for only one of those, luckily!}, and best for last, our toilet got plugged and we did not get it fixed until the day after...so yes we had been using it without flushing...and when we did get a plunger we thought we'd fixed it and when we flushed the water kept rising, and rising, until it spilled over! It was sooo gross!!! It was a minor overflow and we were able to clean it up fairly easily {we did throw away the old towel we cleaned it up with}.
Overall though life is great and we are loving married life! Happy MLK Jr. weekend!
